Britney Spears is on the cover of “Harpers Bazaar” posing naked and pregnant with her second child.  She is also in the inside pages of the magazine with baby Sean Preston.  Dare I say that Britney looks almost beautiful in her new brown hair.  I guess it is amazing what airbrushing and some photoshop will do.

Ashlee Simpson has turned down a multi-million dollar offer to pose for famous men’s magazine Playboy.The 21-year-old was offered $4 million, but decided not to bare all for the legendary publication.  Simpson’s publicist Rob Shuter confirmed to website TMZ.com that the singer did indeed receive the offer to pose for the magazine, but declined.  I wonder if they asked Jessica Simpson.   I bet she would do it for some ribs and miller lite.

Speaking of Jessica, MSNBC is reporting that Jessica Simpson and Dane Cook are getting hot and heavy. They were at the Hollywood Lounge and it looked like they wanted to rip each others clothing off!  I don’t know if anyone of you knows who Dane Cook is, but he is a hilarious comic who a show on HBO has called Tourgasm.  It is quite funny.
 

This next story would complete my pop dreams.  I have been hearing rumblings about the Spice Girls coming back for a reunion. Apparently the girls would be for a charity called “Children In Need.” They would be performing in efforts to raise money for the charity.  The only holdout for the reunion is Posh Becks.

Star Jones announced yesterday that she will be leaving “The View”.  She told “People Magazine” that she feels like she was fired by Barbara Walters when they did not renew her contract.  ABC told her that yesterday was her last day on the show.  Interestingly enough, Jones was told that her contract would not be renewed just days before the news leaked that Rosie O’Donnell would be joining the show to replace Meredith Viera.  I never dug Star. 
 

File this in the “Why are these people still getting attention drawer.”  Axl Rose was arrested early yesterday morning in Sweden after biting a hotel security guard’s leg.  The incident occurred at an after party following a Guns N’ Roses sold out show at Stockholm’s Globe Arena.

Some more information is now getting released regarding the BSB breakup.  Backstreet Boys star Brian Littrell spoke with MTV News about Kevin Richardson’s decision to leave the group. “During the Never Gone tour Kevin had kind of relayed his personal thoughts and his individual aspirations, personally and business wise, things that he wants to further accomplish in his life,” Littrell explained. “And he’s the oldest member of the group and he’s just at a different place in his life. There is no bad blood whatsoever.” Now, the Boys are back in the studio working on new material. “We’re in the process of trying to put this record together for a fourth-quarter release, so we’re excited about it,” Littrell revealed.

Adam Sandler’s comedy ‘Click,’ about a remote control that can alter someone’s life, clicked at the box office with a $40 million take in its first week of release. Animated movie ‘Cars’ was knocked into second place with $22.5 million, after two weeks in the top spot. Jack Black’s film ‘Nacho Libre,’ about Mexican wrestlers, slipped one spot to number three with $12.1 million.

As I reported last week, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban were married over the weekend. They were married in Sydney Australia on Sunday, in a small wedding attended by less than one hundred people. On hand for the big day were Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise’s adopted children Isabella and Connor.

Also married, Desperate Housewives star Marcia Cross; she plays “Bree” on the show. Marcia married Stockbroker Tom Mahoney. The wedding had 100 guests, but co-star Nicollette Sheridan apparently did not attend.

Some sad news to report. Legendary TV producer and Tori’s father, Aaron Spelling died on Friday at his Los Angeles home after suffering a stroke last weekend. Spelling was 83-years-old. Spelling created such classic shows as Charlie’s Angles, Beverly Hills 90210, Melrose Place, and Dynasty. He will be sorely missed.

Star magazine is reporting that Justin Timberlake has reportedly broken off his relationship with Cameron Diaz. The word is that Diaz was “too clingy”. Timberlake is preparing for the release of his new album in September and subsequent world tour. The newest rumor here is that Justin is now dating Ron Popeil’s daughter, Lauren. You’ll remember Ron Popeil as the infomercial guy. Apparently Timberlake and Lauren Popeil have been spending a great deal of time together. Timberlake’s CD “FutureSex/LoveSounds” will hit record stores on September 12^th. The first single from the album, “SexyBack” hits radio on July 7^th. I wish he would hook up with Kristin from Laguna. They would make such a cute couple together.

Kevin Richardson has announced that he will be leaving the Backstreet Boys. The rest of the group released a statement saying that Richardson had recently done some “soul searching” and decided that it was time to move on. They went on to say that the group would welcome him back with open arms. The Backstreet Boys plan to release a new album later this year.

Britney Spears tells Oh Mag! That this pregnancy is better than the first one. She said she would also like to have three children. Britney says that Kevin was shocked at first when he was told of another baby, but now they are both happy!

And finally, though some women fear how they’ll look after a pregnancy, Nelly Furtado tells The Sun she prefers how she looks after giving birth to daughter Nevis nearly three years ago. “I like my body so much more now since having my baby,” she said. “It’s just kind of empowering when you become a mother. You just get overwhelmed with this new confidence and you feel really in control of your life. It’s been beautiful. I celebrate my body.”

Ben Affleck has signed on to play the Tom Selleck role of Magnum in the upcoming film adaptation of the 80s television show “Magnum, P.I.”. Word is that Brian Grazer, producer of “The DaVinci Code”, will produce the film. I can not picture Ben with the infamous mustache.

Nicole Kidman’s fiancée, Keith Urban has been named Country Music’s Sexiest Man. By the way, rumors are flying around that Nicole Kidman may be pregnant with Urban’s child.  People.com is reporting that the two will be married by the week’s end.

Hilary Duff claims that she is a virgin and will remain that way until her wedding night. Duff has been dating Good Charlotte’s Joel Madden for a couple of years now. Wow, how Jessica Simpson of her. She does look pretty thin now of days, so I can pretty much assure you she is not pregnant.

Star Magazine, Cameron Diaz is reportedly so impressed by Ashlee Simpson’s nose-job that she has hired the same plastic surgeon to reshape her own nose. Diaz suffered a cracked bridge due to a skiing accident earlier this year.

James Blunt has a trick he uses during his concert that makes ladies flash him while performing. Blunt says “If you tell an audience, ‘Sorry, I was distracted by a girl flashing me,’ loads of other people start flashing you too.”

Heather Mills is suing a London tabloid paper for alleging that she was a high priced call girl and model for a hardcore pornography establishment.  The paper alleges that Mills was paid up to $10,000 a night for servicing a number of wealthy Arabian men.  Mills and Paul McCartney confirmed yesterday that they are in fact getting a divorce.  The couple have a young daughter together.

Sorry about the lack of updates.  I have been quite busy this week, but here it is.  I will also update this early in the week next week.
 

Let me start off by reporting with some Britney news.  It appears that she and K-fed are heading more and more apart.  Recently Britney fired her old nanny, (yes the one who was responsible for dropping Sean Preston) and hired a new nanny.  Or should I say Manny.  Britney has been spending a lot of time with her new nanny, a guy who was a standout lacrosse player at USC.  I pray to the God above, that she and K-fed are through.
