Happy Monday kiddies and away I go.
I would like to believe I am one of the first legitimate news sources to report this. Heidi Montag is now Mrs. Pratt! The Hills stars eloped in Mexico, reports Us Weekly in its newest issue that hits stands Wednesday. The couple actually married on November 20 at the One & Only Palmilla Resort, outside Cabo San Lucas. The couple did not plan the wedding and married on a whim (but photographers and a white dress were conveniently there?). No family or friends were present. The ceremony lasted 15 minutes. “The minute we said our vows, I couldn’t stop crying,” Montag told Us Weekly. The magazine also reports that at the altar, Pratt told his new wife, “Heidi, from the moment you came into my life, I knew my life would never be the same without you. You are the light in my life like the sun to the earth! Your loving warmth makes me want to be a better person. Being with you, I feel complete. I’m honored to even be able to call you my wife. You are the most amazing, loving and caring woman on this planet. I will love you forever and always.” Oh wow, that is one thing that LC didn’t do first.

Michelle Williams says she misses the late Australian film star Heath Ledger, the father of her 3-year-old daughter Matilda. The couple broke up shortly before Ledger died in January of an accidental prescription drug overdose at the age of 28. However, Williams and Ledger reportedly had remained close until his death. People magazine said that during a recent interview with Newsweek, Williams broke down and wept when Ledger’s name was mentioned. “It’s so sad,” she told Newsweek. Um yeah, you think. Leave the poor woman alone. Damn Paparazzi.

Pop star/actress Hilary Duff has developed a crush on movie vampire Robert Pattinson, and told her boyfriend to watch out. The “So Yesterday” singer admits she’s smitten with the sexy Brit, who plays vampire Edward Cullen in new movie Twilight – and now she’s on the hunt for her own bloodsucking beau. She says, “I told my boyfriend, I was like, Edward Cullen… I mean, find me a vampire, you might be done…!’ He’s handsome.” Ahh, how cute. He is so much better than Benji Madden.

Speaking of Twilight, Summit Entertainment said in Los Angeles it is officially moving forward with production of “New Moon,” the sequel to its just-opened “Twilight” vampire movie. The announcement was made Saturday. Starring Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, Twilight earned more than $70 million during its first weekend in U.S. theaters. Twilight and New Moon are based on a series of contemporary vampire books written by Stephanie Meyer. “I don’t think any other author has had a more positive experience with the makers of her movie adaptation than I have had with Summit Entertainment. I’m thrilled to have the chance to work with them again on New Moon,” the author said in a statement. Yeah, I saw it Saturday morning and I loved it.

Actress Jodie Sweetin is “trying to stay positive” following her split from husband Cody Herpin – for the sake of their baby daughter. The former Full House star, 26, filed for legal separation from Herpin, 31, on Wednesday in Orange County, California. Sweetin married the movie set designer in July 2007, weeks after meeting him for the first time. They welcomed daughter, Zoie, on April 12. And Sweetin’s agent, Stella Alex, tells People.com that the actress is refusing to break down, because she needs to care for the seven-month-old tot. She says, “(Sweetin) is trying to stay positive for Zoie. Her focus is the baby. Jodie’s got a huge support system in her family and friends and she thinks this is what’s best for her.” While Sweetin’s estranged husband adds, “Not knowing what’s going on is hard. It’s rough. Marriage is not taken lightly to me. It’s supposed to be forever.” Oh poor Stephanie, at least she has the tell-all book to fall back on.

Super Brit Leona Lewis would love to follow in the footsteps of “inspiring” Beyonce Knowles, and get herself an acting career. The Bleeding Love hitmaker, who won British talent show The X Factor in 2006, looks up to Knowles – and would love to emulate the success of her idol. She says, “Beyonce is great, so lovely and down to earth and talented. She’s inspiring. “I might go into acting like she did. I wouldn’t want to do a music thing though, it would have to be different.” Oh don’t say that, your ass isn’t big enough to be Beyonce.

And finally, Miss Britney Spears much-anticipated album – which includes the smash hit song “Womanizer” – is slated to hit stores next week, and the pop princess dished about the title and how it compares to her previous album. “I called it Circus because I like the fact that you are on the edge of your seat when you are at a circus. You are never bored. You are engulfed in what is going on and you want to know what is going to happen next.” “Circus is a lot lighter than Blackout. Blackout is darker, edgier and a little bit more urban. When I recorded Blackout I was going through a really dark phase in my life and a lot of the songs reflect that. I didn’t go on tour with that album so I will be bringing some of the songs from Blackout on tour with me next year.” Color me there. The world needs a fun Britney record. I mean, Christ, have you seen the economy as of late?
