Britney is back

Happy Monday Bitches and away I go. I hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving. In my opinion nothing beats a piñata for any holiday.

Chicago police have issued a warrant for the arrest of William Balfour, the estranged brother-in-law of Jennifer Hudson, in connection with the Hudson slayings. WMAQ-TV reports that Balfour was arrested Monday at 2:45 at Stateville Prison. No formal charges have been filed. Hudson’s mother Darnell Donerson and brother Jason Hudson were found murdered in their Chicago home in October. Her seven-year-old nephew, Julian King, went missing and was found dead several days later. Well I guess that given Jennifer a form of closure.

Tina Fey’s husband says the facial scar the television star doesn’t talk about publicly happened when a stranger slashed her as a child. “It was in, like, the front yard of her house, and somebody just came up, and she just thought somebody marked her with a pen,” the New York Post quoted Fey’s husband Jeff Richmond as saying. Fey, a Pennsylvania native known for starring in and writing for Saturday Night Live and 30 Rock, has declined to discuss the scar on her chin and cheek in the past. “It’s impossible to talk about it without somehow seemingly exploiting it,” she said. The Post did not say whether anyone had ever been charged in connection with the slashing, which took place when Fey was 5. How come celebrities always live tough lives?

Nearly 13 million people tuned in to see star Britney Spears perform on the British TV talent show The X Factor, The Times of London said. Spears lip-synched and danced to her new single, “Womanizer,” as a celebrity guest performer on Saturday night’s show and earned a standing ovation by The X Factor judges. However, her eagerly awaited performance was criticized on show message boards by fans after the Spanish-born singer Ruth Lorenzo was booted from the competition. “It was terrible,” The Times said one viewer wrote. “All the contestants are better than her.” Another armchair critic griped, “She wasn’t even trying to sing.” But the show’s producers maintain they were happy with the performance. “We were absolutely delighted at having the American pop phenomenon that is Britney Spears appearing on the No. 1 entertainment show in the United Kingdom,” executive producer Richard Holloway told The Times. A spokesman for the show added that Spears’s performance was “brilliant.” I have seen the performances on youtube.com and frankly Britney is back bitches.

Donnie Wahlberg came close to death last week after losing control of his car on a highway. The star was driving from San Diego to Los Angeles on Wednesday night following one of the band’s gigs. And Wahlberg was so exhausted after the event, he fell asleep at the wheel and came within inches of smashing his vehicle into the central reservation in the middle of the road. He says, “I nearly crashed my car after the gig. I was driving from San Diego to L.A. and I’d been on the road for three hours. I was so tired that my eyes kept closing. Then I fell asleep and it was raining.” I wonder if he has health insurance to pay for any of the stitches?

Settling into his role as a doting dad, Clay Aiken says he’s been a complete hands on parent. “It was probably a week before [the baby's mother] had to change a diaper at all!” the American Idol favorite tells Entertainment Tonight. “I’m trying my best to be the one who doesn’t always let him get what he wants, but he own us.” Back on Broadway as Sir Robin for the final weeks of Monty Python’s Spamalot, Aiken, 30, says returning to the stage will afford him more time with 3½-month-old Parker and good friend – and the baby’s mother – Jaymes Foster. As long as his hands on methods don’t touch Jaymes Foster, than he is perfect. ca

And finally, Singer Boy George admits in a recording played in a London court that he restrained a male escort with handcuffs. But the former Culture Club singer says he had no intention of hurting the man. He also denies he tried to assault the escort or that he swung a chain at him. The singer, whose real name is George O’Dowd, is on trial for the false imprisonment of 29-year-old Audun Carlsen. O’Dowd says in a police recording played Monday that he asked Carlsen to come to his apartment. O’Dowd says he wanted to ask Carlsen if he had tampered with his laptop. The ’80s pop icon has a history of drug abuse and served a community service sentence in 2006 in the United States after falsely reporting a burglary. Wow, leave it to Boy George to get mail escorts.
