He did not specify what she was being treated for or when she entered the facility. “We appreciate your respect to her and her family’s privacy at this time,” he said in a statement. Reid, 33, earned a reputation as a drunken partier after famously being photographed on a red carpet with her breast exposed, apparently unaware that the strap of her dress had fallen off. Hahahahaha. Why cant you represent New Jersey with Pride and Dignity? Like the Jonas Brothers?
Madonna has paid her ex-husband British director Guy Ritchie up to $92 million to settle their divorce after eight years of marriage, her spokeswoman said on Monday. Liz Rosenberg said the singer, 50, had given Ritchie, 40, between $76 million and $92 million as part of their divorce, which was granted by a British court on November 21. She said that sum includes the couple’s English country estate, Ashcombe, which is valued at about $30 million. The couple’s combined wealth has been estimated at about $525 million, but Madonna accounts for most of it. Rosenberg said custody arrangements for the couple’s children have not been finalized. Madonna and Ritchie have an 8-year-old son, Rocco, and 3-year-old son David, adopted from Malawi. The singer also has a daughter Lourdes, born in 1996, from her relationship with fitness trainer Carlos Leon. Wow, way to make out like a male gold-digger.
Taylor Swift celebrated her 19th birthday in a very un-Hollywood way, reports People.com. The country star, along with her family, friends and band, enjoyed a buffet dinner in her Hendersonville, Tenn., home Saturday. On the menu? sushi, mini beef Wellingtons and bacon-wrapped scallops and two ice cream cakes followed by S’mores (the singer’s favorite!). The night’s entertainment also included a homemade video she made for her friends and a ping-pong tournament! Wow, now finally a teen pop-star with class.
The CW network just loves 90s television shows. Not only is it home to the new 90210 but it is reportedly going to be home to another popular 90s show: Melrose Place, which originally starred Heather Locklear, Rob Estes and Marcia Cross. Melrose Place is reportedly getting a makeover. “Melrose Place will shoot a pilot during the regular pilot season,” a source familiar with the project tells People.com. Well that just what I need. Another thing to fill out my Tivo box.
Amy Poehler officially left Saturday Night Live over the weekend. “This is my last show,” Poehler announced from her “Weekend Update” anchor desk. “Being able to do over 140 shows with my friends and my family has been a dream come true. “I love you,” she told the audience, “and I will miss all of you very much.” It is just not going to be the same with out her on the show.
With the new season of American Idol quickly approaching (season begins Jan. 13) rumors are flying about the changes that viewers can expect. In a memo obtained by an Idol fan site, only three weeks (not four) will be devoted to the early audition rounds featuring the worst, most entertaining and frightening wanna-be contestants. Then a full two weeks will be focused on the Hollywood rounds where 36 contestants (not 24) will proceed on. Also, the “wild card” round returns where rejected singers have the chance to earn a spot in the Top 12. “Idol Gives Back” will be canceled. Mjsbigblog.com reported that due to the recession, Idol producers felt it was inappropriate to ask people for donations. The charitable campaign raised over $130 million in seasons 6 and 7. Oh man, you know my theory. If it ain’t broken, don’t fix it. Please don’t mess with a good thing.
Former “Danity Kane” diva Aubrey O’Day wasn’t skilled enough for Diddy, but it seems she has become pretty skilled at sneaking her friends inside hot Hollywood parties. Miss O’Day attended the Zen Green Tea Liqueur launch in Hollywood on Wednesday night where she drank and danced the night away before suddenly pulling out a puppy from her purse. But little Ginger wasn’t the only date Aubrey brought to the bash, she was also accompanied by what we’re told is her girlfriend. Yes, girlfriend. “That’s right,” a pal told Tarts. “Aubrey is out and proud.” According to other another partygoer, O’Day was heard happily telling pals about her new girl-on-girl romance. Earlier this week the “Hairspray” starlet showed up to SKY Group’s launch of the BlackBerry Pearl Flip at Highbar and later at NASCAR’s party at Marquee with a woman she introduced as her girlfriend. Back in August O’Day was also pap-snapped locking lips with New York socialite/heiress, Lydia Hearst. Ha, anything to stay in the public eye.
And finally, It’s another boy for Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber. A representative for Watts tells People magazine the couple welcomed their second son on Saturday. The Australian actress and her actor boyfriend are also parents to Alexander Pete Schreiber, born in July 2007. They have been dating three years and co-starred in the 2006 drama “The Painted Veil.” What no name released yet? How Rude?
