Country singer LeAnn Rimes – who has been married to Dean Sheremet for 7 years – has been caught in an affair with her married co-star, Eddie Cibrian. Us magazine reports that Rimes and Cibrian were caught by security cameras at a Laguna Beach, California restaurant having a romantic dinner on March 7, and the pair were spotted arriving separately – but entering the same room – at Malibu Beach Inn on March 14. Ha, I always do love a good celebrity cheating scandal.

 

 

Ivan, one of two 8-week-old puppies Oprah Winfrey adopted from PAWS Chicago this month, has died, a spokeswoman for Winfrey’s Harpo Productions said. The representative told the Chicago Tribune that Ivan, a blond-colored cocker spaniel who appeared on the March 6 edition of “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” died of the parvo virus late last week. Ivan was from the same litter as Sadie, another cocker puppy Winfrey recently adopted and introduced to the audience on a live program. The Tribune noted Winfrey has been a longtime supporter of PAWS, highlighting the agency during a series of 2008 shows about puppy mills and pet overpopulation, and financing a pet room at the shelter. Wow that is sad, and BT-Dubs, puppy mills suck.

 

 

Time Out New York was first to report that that actress Natasha Richardson is brain dead following her ski accident Monday at the Station Mont Tremblant near Montreal. The New York Post reports that the 45-year-old is being transporting to New York this afternoon so her family and friends can pay their final respects before she’s taken off life-support. However, TMZ.com reports she’s suffering from brain swelling. According to CBS, her family will release a statement tomorrow. Usmagazine.com reported Richardson was not feeling well after the incident and was brought to Centre Hospitalier Laurentien in Ste-Agathe and transferred to Hôpital du Sacre-Coeur.” Her husband, actor Liam Neeson, rushed to her side, leaving the set of his new film, Chloe. “Liam Neeson left the Toronto set immediately to fly to Montreal upon news of his wife’s accident,” IrishCentral.com quoted a representative for the film “Chloe” as saying. “We do not have any details at this time, but we hope for the best and our thoughts and prayers are with Natasha and Liam and their family.” The British-born actress is the daughter of stage and film great Vanessa Redgrave and the late director-producer Tony Richardson. She is also the sister of actress Joely Richardson and the wife of Northern Irish actor Liam Neeson, her co-star in the 1994 film “Nell.” Wow, that is real sad, I guess this reaffirms my theories on skiing and exercise as a whole.

 

 

Well this is some exciting news. Comedienne and talk show host Ellen DeGeneres has signed on to play the title character in the movie Mother Nature, Walden Media announced Wednesday. Based on an internally generated original concept, the big-screen, live-action comedy is about Mother Nature’s return to Earth for the first time since the planet’s creation, the company said in a release. The project is being written by Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winner Jenny Bicks, the creator and executive producer of TV’s Men in Trees, and a writer and executive producer on Sex in the City. “I’m so excited to be playing Mother Nature. I’ve always wanted to control the weather. Nothing will stop me from doing this … neither rain, nor snow, nor sleet … I may be thinking of the postal service. But, I’m really excited about the movie,” DeGeneres said in a statement. “We are thrilled to be working with such a beloved entertainer. The project is designed to capitalize on Ellen’s unique voice, her skills as a physical comedienne, and her ability to connect with an audience,” added Michael Bostick, Walden Media’s chief executive officer. Walden said it is looking to fast track the project for production this summer in Los Angeles during the talk show host’s hiatus. DeGeneres’ film credits include Mr. Wrong, Ed TV and Finding Nemo. Good for her, I tivo Ellen on a daily basis.

 

 

Actress Jessica Lange was hospitalized after she was injured in a fall at her Minnesota cabin, TMZ reported Wednesday. The entertainment news Web site quoted family sources as saying the 59-year-old Oscar winner grabbed for an unstable railing and took a tumble. One family member told TMZ, “She’s OK … but very lucky.” Lange’s publicist confirmed the incident to People.com Wednesday. “She bruised her ribs, broke her collarbone and received a small cut on her forehead,” her representative said in a statement issued to the magazine. “She will be completely fine and expects to be released from the hospital imminently.” Wait, what is Jessica Lange famous for again.

 

 

Audrina Partridge has signed a deal to get her own TV show after leaving The Hills.  The star has will work with reality TV god Mark Burnett- who produced The Apprentice and Survivor- on the program. Audrina’s show will reportedly follow her professional and personal life- though it’s currently unknown what station it will be shown on. Lauren Conrad recently announced she will also be leaving The Hills but the show will definitely continue. Conrad – who had previously appeared on Laguna Beach- said she quit the show to “lead a more private life.” Damn, now who is going to be wearing the skimpy bikinis on The Hills.

 

 

And finally, DJ AM has put a price on the cost to his body, career and well-being from last year’s plane crash in which he and Travis Barker were the sole survivors. In his lawsuit against Learjet and others, DJ AM, real name Adam Goldstein, 35, is seeking a minimum $10 million for medical damages, lost earnings and profits, plus the same amount for mental and physical pain and suffering, for a total of at least $20 million, according to court papers filed Friday. The defendants have denied any responsibility for the crash, the official cause of which is still under investigation. Both pilots of the plane, as well as Barker’s assistant Chris Baker, 29, and bodyguard Charles Still, 25, perished in the crash. Barker and DJ AM were hospitalized for weeks with serious burns. Barker, DJ AM, Still’s mother and Baker’s widow have filed wrongful death lawsuits against various corporations they allege were responsible. Baker’s widow and DJ AM are also suing the estates of the two pilots. Humph? Is it just me or does 20 million seem a little steep, you got away alive.

Charlie Sheen is the proud father of twin boys. The Two and a Half Men actor and his wife Brooke Mueller welcomed the tots into the world on Saturday night. The twins – named Bob and Max – were a few weeks premature but are doing fine, according to Sheen’s publicist Stan Rosenfield. He tells People.com, “They’re doing great. And Brooke’s doing great.” Sheen – who already has three daughters, Sam, 4, Lola, 3 and 24-year-old Cassandra – is said to be “very happy” with the new additions to his brood.  Rosenfield adds, “He’s a family man – now he has three daughters and two sons. He’s a wonderful father.” Sheen and Mueller married in May last year. As long as his psycho ex Denise Richards does not get involved in raising them we are good to go.

 

 

Jennifer Aniston has reportedly told friends it was her decision to end her romance with rocker John Mayer. The singer-guitarist was rumored to have dumped the former Friends actress last week after she returned from promoting her latest movie Marley & Me in Europe. But, according to U.K. newspaper The Sun, it was Aniston’s decision to end the relationship – after Mayer became distant following an appearance at the Academy Awards last month. A source tells the publication, “They had a great time at the Oscars, but he seemed to go cold right after. It’s humiliating. To say her feelings are hurt is an understatement.” The pair had a tumultuous relationship – they started dating in early 2008 but parted ways during the summer. They rekindled their romance in October, before reportedly splitting again last week. Yeah I am totally over them.

 

 

Britney Spears’s pals have dismissed rumors the pop superstar is stepping out with her longtime agent – insisting there is “categorically nothing romantic” between the pair. The “Toxic” hitmaker recently sent internet gossips into a spin after she was spotted enjoying a romantic meal with her agent Jason Trawick in between the singer’s Circus tour dates. Reports suggested the pair had recently begun dating, after four years of working together. But insiders have hit out at the rumors, insisting the pair’s relationship is one that is purely professional and platonic. A source tells Usmagazine.com, “They are absolutely, 100 percent not dating. He is her agent, and that is it.” Remember Miss Spears, do dating for the time being.

 

 

 

Much as Miley Cyrus 2008 tour shined a spotlight on the insanity of ticket reselling, Taylor Swift’s hotly anticipated Fearless tour is igniting a furor over the secondary market. Tickets for Swift’s tour, which begins April 22 in Evansville, Indiana, went on sale February 6. The tour sold out almost immediately, with some resellers posting tickets at sharply marked-up prices even before they officially went on sale, according to Louis Messina, Swift’s promoter and president of the Messina Group (TMG) and AEG Live.  “I’ve never seen anything in my whole career like this,” Messina said. “There’s not a city that’s not selling out in minutes.” With the exception of New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Uncasville, Conn. (home of the Mohegan Sun Arena), face-value ticket prices for Swift’s tour were $20, $39.50 and $49.50. This conservative pricing was Swift’s call, Messina said. “She wants it to be affordable to go to her show,” he said. “Really, if it was strictly up to her, all tickets would be $20. She does have expenses, so unfortunately $20 won’t get it.” But Swift’s asking price isn’t what a lot of fans are paying. “It’s ridiculous,” Messina said. “First of all, tickets are posted before they’ve even gone on sale. I’ve seen tickets at $1,100 each. It’s frustrating on our part because the whole intent was to make it affordable, but she’s in such demand that people are paying these prices.” Look at Taylor keeping it real, and doing it for her fans. Chris Brown did not record a duet with girlfriend Rihanna just days after he was charged with assaulting her, according to a new report. Brown, who was arraigned earlier this month, faces two felony charges of assault and making criminal threats after a bust-up with Rihanna at a pre-Grammy Awards party in Los Angeles on 8 February. The incident reportedly left Rihanna in need of medical treatment, but the pair was rumored to have reconciled following the alleged altercation by making a new track together with the help of producer pal Polow da Don. A spokesperson for Don told MTV News the couple had completed the track earlier this week. But the song in question, Bad Girl, was actually a demo recording from last year that Brown and Rihanna had provided vocals on, according to People.com. A source tells the website, “Contrary to published reports, Chris Brown and Rihanna did not record a duet after the incident… around August or September of 2008, Chris and Rihanna’s vocals were recorded as the reference vocals for this demo only. (But) the song was never conceived or intended to be a duet between them, and was later recorded by other artists.” Good, remember Rihanna, separation is a good thing right now. Keep your distance.

 

 

It’s a match made in Hollywood Heaven! Danny Masterson and Bijou Phillips, who have starred in several films together, are engaged, his rep tells PEOPLE exclusively. The actor and deejay, 33, proposed to Phillips, 28, on Saturday. The couple have been dating for 3½ years. They co-starred in the indie film Wake, and recently wrapped two movies together: Made for Each Other and The Bridge to Nowhere directed by Blair Underwood.  Masterson, best known for his role as Steven Hyde on FOX’s comedy That ’70s Show, was last seen opposite Jim Carrey in Yes Man. He currently tours the country as a deejay under the name DJ Mom Jeans. Ha, DJ Mom Jeans, why didn’t I think of that…And to think, I didn’t even know that they were dating.

 

 

Former adult film star Jenna Jameson and her UFC champ boyfriend Tito Ortiz have welcomed healthy twin boys to their family, AVN reports. These are the first children for the couple, who have been dating since 2006. Ortiz has a son from a previous marriage. Jameson expressed her excitement on her MySpace blog last September, when the couple announced the pregnancy. “I can’t even express the extreme serenity that came over me once I saw my children inside me,” she wrote. “It has been my dream to have children for an extremely long time, and I truly feel like finally, the time is right and God has blessed me. I have never felt more like a woman, or more alive. I wonder if she thought that she could not get pregnant from doing reverse anal cowgirl.

 

 

And finally, The 2009 MTV Movie Awards never take themselves too seriously, but this year may be the funniest yet. Saturday Night Live star Andy Samberg has been selected to host the show on May 31. Now in their 18th year, the MTV awards are well known for their zany film parodies and outrageous antics. (Remember Will Ferrell’s liplock with Sacha Baron Cohen?) Samberg’s comedic styles should be a nice match for the awards, which present golden popcorn trophies in unconventional categories such as “best villain,” “best action sequence” and “best kiss.” Yeah, is it just me, or is Andy Samberg nothing more than a 20 dollar Adam Sandler ripoff?

Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams are now officially an item The two, who announced their engagement in February, quietly tied the knot in Savannah, Georgia, her rep confirms to Usmagazine.com. Wow, she is still one of my celebrity crushes, ever since A Walk to Remember.

 

 

Jewel’s dancing injury has inspired the star to bring her baby plans forward. The newlywed was planning to complete her stint on talent show Dancing With The Stars before getting pregnant with husband Ty Murray’s baby, but now she doesn’t have to wait. Jewel was forced to pull out of the program last week after she fractured tibia in both legs during rehearsals. But, after learning her injury will not be permanent, she’s got motherhood on her mind: “We were gonna wait until after the show, but I guess now I don’t have to wait. We’re gonna try.” Ya know Ty, if you are shooting blanks I will be more than happy to step up and give ole snaggletooth a whirl.

 

 

 

Well this is a good sign. Chris Brown’s spokesman said the recently arrested singer has withdrawn his name from the list of Kids’ Choice Awards nominees. The 19-year-old recording artist is up for two prizes at the family-friendly March 28 event. In the wake of his highly publicized arrest last month for allegedly beating up his singer girlfriend Rihanna, who is 21, an Internet petition has been circulated by people who want Nickelodeon to remove Brown and Rihanna, who reportedly have since reconciled, as nominees. People.com said the petition had 5,284 signatures as of Tuesday. However, a Nickelodeon representative told the magazine it had no intention of dropping the pair from its list of nominees. Good, I am happy that Nick is coming to their senses.

 

 

Miley Cyrus is suffering from a heart condition. The pop star/actress reveals in her autobiography Miles to Go that she has tachycardia, meaning her heart rate exceeds the range of a normal resting heart rate. And although the condition isn’t life-threatening, Cyrus admits she struggles to deal with the issue. She writes, “The type of tachycardia I have isn’t dangerous. It won’t hurt me, but it does bother me. There is never a time onstage when I’m not thinking about my heart.” Damn it, I was hoping that she would just disappear.

 

 

Bristol Palin and her fiancé Levi Johnston have broken up, which 2 sources have confirmed.. The split happened “a few weeks ago,” according to a source close to the couple, but it’s unclear what precipitated it. “It was a mutual thing,” adds the source. Bristol, the 18-year-old daughter of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, spoke with FOX News in February and told Greta Van Susteren that she and Levi – who are parents to 2-month-old son, Tripp – expected to get married after they completed high school. “It kind of just happened,” says the source, referring to the split. “I thought they would stick it out. But I think they can work together to raise Tripp.” “I’m not sure what caused [them to break up] – it’s common knowledge,” says another source who knows the family. Despite the breakup, Levi still sees the couple’s son. Levi’s dad, Keith Johnston, told People recently that his son is a devoted and “proud father.” See I would hit it for celebrity reasons, but unfortunately she has major baggage.

 

 

On Idol Tuesday, Simon Cowell promised a big surprise on Wednesday’s results show.  Viewers already know that two of the Top 13 contestants are up for elimination, so that’s not it. Of the twist, Cowell did say, “It involved us (the judges) so I’m not sure whether the public are going to like this, but we’ve decided to do something slightly different.” The next morning, Ryan Seacrest offered an even more intriguing secret on his KISS-FM radio show. “We’ve kind of changed the entire theme and concept of the show,” he said. “It deviates from the purity of the premise of American Idol.” That sounds major! See my whole two cents is that this is American Idol, America chooses the winner. If they give the judges Vito power I am going to be pissed off.

 

 

 

The Kardashian sisters – Kim, Khloe and Kourtney – stopped by Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS -FM morning show and talked about the possibility of doing a spread for the famed men’s mag, whose cover Kim, 28, has already graced. “Is that true that you’ve been offered a nude layout?” Ryan’s co-host Ellen asked the Keeping Up With the Kardashian stars. “…I thought Playboy wanted to do all the sisters now that Kim’s done it,” she said. While unaware of the rumor, a more svelte Khloe, who recently lost 20 pounds from her curvaceous frame, admitted she would “love it.” The youngest of the trio, Khloe has already appeared nude in a PETA ad last year. “We could be the new Girls Next Door, the brunette version,” Kourtney added. The sisters also discussed the type of men they love, with Kim and Khloe admitting a preference for athletes and Kourtney admitting to a penchant for pretty boys. Is it bad I just vomited up in my mouth a little bit.

 

 

And finally, Cat Cora, star of Food Network’s “Iron Chef America,” announced Tuesday that she was 4-1/2 months pregnant with a boy. But this is where it gets interesting. Cora’s partner Jennifer, with whom she already has two sons, is also pregnant, and due in April, three months before Cora. “Jennifer and I are thrilled to go through the wonderful experience of pregnancy together. We started the in-vitro process 5 years ago,” said Cora, who is due in July. “This has been a miracle for us and we’ll now have 4 beautiful children.” But we’re not done. It gets even more interesting. Cora is carrying Jennifer’s biological child. And their second child, now 23 months old, was conceived using Cora’s egg, but carried by Jennifer In Jennifer’s current pregnancy, both women’s embryos were implanted, so they don’t know who the biological mother is, and they say they don’t plan on doing DNA testing to find out. The same anonymous sperm donor was used for all four pregnancies, making all four kids biologically related. I wonder if they are going to serve Pink Tacos in the birthing room? Oh I kid.
